Mahesh Babu-starrer Guntur Kaaram was released at the cinema halls on January 12, 2024. Trivikram Srinivas has written and directed this film. Netflix has reportedly acquired the streaming rights to this film at a huge price. As per the reports, Guntur Kaaram will start streaming on Netflix on February 8 or 9 in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages, along with Telugu. As per the reports, an official announcement regarding the release date will be made soon by the makers. Sreeleela, Ramya Krishnan, Jayaram, Prakash Raj and Jagapathi Babu have also acted in Guntur Kaaram. Initially, the film had a splendid start at the box office, but soon the buzz around it finished. According to the official industry tracker Sacnillik, the 21 days overseas collection of this film is Rs 31 crore. The 21 days domestic gross collection of the film is Rs 146.67 crore.

As of now, Mahesh Babu has joined director SS Rajamouli for his upcoming film, tentatively titled SSMB 29. According to a report published in Republic, this film will also feature Nagarjuna in a prominent role. Reportedly, SSMB 29 will show Mahesh performing some of the most intense action sequences in the African jungles. As per the reports, SS Rajamouli will also go to Europe to shoot many other action sequences.

As per the reports, actress Chelsea Islan has also been roped in to play a crucial role in this film. According to the reports, the budget of this film is Rs 1000 crore. According to another report published in 123 Telugu, SS Rajamouli has also travelled to Mumbai to look into the casting possibilities for this project.
